Our client, the ACLU of MN, has a new opportunity for an Operations & HR Manager

 

Power our fight for civil liberties from the inside.

The ACLU of Minnesota needs a tactical wizard to keep our 70-year mission running smoothly. As our Operations & HR Manager, you'll be the backbone of our organization—handling everything from office management to IT infrastructure to human resources.

What You'll Do

  • Run the operational show (50+ vendors, two offices, budgets)
  • Keep our tech functioning and secure
  • Manage the entire employee lifecycle
  • Support our union partnership
  • Make our workplace fair, inclusive, and efficient

Requirements

  • HR, IT, or related certification/training
  • Operations, HR, and IT support experience (nonprofit preferred)
  • PEO and collective bargaining experience a plus
  • Microsoft Office and IT systems proficiency
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
  • Local travel for meetings and purchases

The Details

  • Salary: $70,000-$75,000
  • Benefits: Medical/dental, 401(k), vacation, 16 paid holidays, sick leave
  • Location: Minneapolis (unionized position)
