ABOUT THE ROLE
We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a profitable, established (over 35 years) commercial printing company in Reno, NV — $2.4M in annual revenue, a loyal B2B client base, and a reputation built over decades of quality work. State-of-the art equipment means this is a company positioned for growth and the owner is ready to bring on the right person to grow, lead, and ultimately own this business.
This is a structured, supported path: Sales Leader → Operator → Equity Partner → Owner. If you have ever wanted to run your own business without starting from scratch, this is a rare and real opportunity
THE PATH: FOUR PHASES OF GROWTH
Phase 1 -- Build:Own the pipeline. Learn every facet of the business alongside the owner.
Phase 2 -- Lead: Take day-to-day operational responsibility. Manage the team. Drive strategy.
Phase 3 -- Transition (Year 2+): Begin structured acquisition of partial equity through a transparent framework.
Phase 4 -- Own (Years 3-10): Transition full ownership supported and mentored throughout. The current owner will remain involved as a resource and mentor throughout the transition.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
- Identify, pursue, and close new B2B accounts while deepening relationships with existing clients
- Build a healthy, consistent sales pipeline using disciplined outreach and follow-up
- Track and report on key sales metrics, win rates, and pipeline activity
Operations and Workflow
- Learn and support day-to-day production processes, vendor coordination, and quality control
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement operational improvements
- Gradually assume responsibility for workflow management, staffing decisions, and vendor relationships
Leadership and Culture
- Lead with a servant mindset; support the team, remove obstacles, and create conditions for others to succeed
- Model accountability, transparency, and integrity in all interactions
- Foster a culture of ownership where every team member feels invested in outcomes
Financial and Strategic Oversight (Evolving)
- Develop fluency in financial performance: revenue, margins, costs, and profitability drivers
- Participate in budgeting, pricing strategy, and business planning
- Contribute to the long-term strategic direction of the company
COMPENSATION AND SHARED GROWTH
Base Salary: $80,000 annually -- provides stability and reflects your commitment from day one
Annual Profit Sharing: A meaningful percentage of annual profits distributed above baseline; rewards sustainable, healthy growth, not just top-line volume
Equity / Ownership Path: Partial ownership available after Year 2 through structured acquisition. Majority or full ownership transition available Years 3-10 through a clear, fair, and mutually agreed upon purchase process. Terms finalized collaboratively, designed to be earned, not handed over.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in B2B business development, sales, or account management
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Comfortable operating in a small business environment where roles evolve
- Growth mindset: willing to learn operations, finance, and leadership -- not just sales
Preferred:
- Experience in commercial printing, manufacturing, or a related production environment
- Background in operations management or team leadership
- Familiarity with B2B sales cycles, pricing strategy, or vendor management
- Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship or business ownership
